SOFC Week 2: Friday- Up-cycle Your Beach Bag & Accessories! + Juicy Couture Dupe!

Hey guys!  Happy Friday!  So today I found a few new ways to make your beach things look great!  This includes your beach bag, sandals, and hat.  Click the links in teal writing for the tutorials/pictures!

The first way is to spray paint your things.  Click here!

Another thing you can try is hot glueing rhinestone or sequin strips onto your sandals.  Click here to check out a tutorial.

I’m pretty sure Juicy Couture came out with a beach hat with pom poms on it a few years ago…  Why not DIY one!?  You can put them on your beach bag too!

That’s it for today’s SOFC post, but I am working on another one now, so stay tuned!  Once again, please let me know about next week’s theme, and also let me know if you try this!  Talk to you very soon!

SOFC W2: Summer DIYs That Will Come In Handy #4- Towel Beach Bag

Hey guys! It’s super late, but I still didn’t want to mess the series up, so here’s my post for today! I am hoping to get back to also posting some regular posts tomorrow and this weekend, so if you have any requests please let me know!

Anyways, I found this DIY a long time ago, and never really thought much of it because I don’t go to the pool, and living in Canada doesn’t really give you lots of opportunities to go to the beach. But I still thought that I would share it because I know I still get a lot of viewers that aren’t from Canada!

SOFC W2: Summer DIYs That Will Come In Handy #3- Summer Body Scrubs

Hey guys!  So for today’s post, I am going to be showing you a few DIY Summer Scrubs.  There are quite a few different ones that I’ve been seeing on my Pinterest, so I am going to share!

diy: summer scrub

And here’s another one!

*All links and tutorials are attached to pictures!

For the summer time, it is important to exfoliate your skin to keep it looking healthy!  It’s also nice because in the summer legs build up with dirt and sweat (ick), and you really get it all off with these scrubs.  All three scrubs are very summer-y!  Keep in mind that while you’re at the beach you can easily make your own little make-shift scrub by just using the water and sand!  It can be a little harsh (so be careful, add more water than sand), but it is a natural scrub that is free to do, and super simple and easy!

What would you guys like to see for next week?  Talk to you soon!

SOFC W2: Summer DIYs That Will Come In Handy #1- Soothing Sunburns

Hey guys!  Happy Monday!  I’ve found a new theme for this week!  I have three themes for future weeks planned, but for now I am still brainstorming, so please, please, let me know if you have any ideas for themes!

This week’s theme is: Summer DIYs that will come in handy

For today’s post, I found a really good idea, and thought it would be great for this week’s theme!  The idea is to freeze aloe vera mixed with a bit of water.  You mix the two, and then put them into an ice cube tray, and then freeze them in the freezer.  This will help soothe your sunburns, if you happen to get one.  Of course I’m a redhead, so I’m sure I will be trying this!  Also, it is obviously important to protect your skin for the summer, especially if you are spending a full day outside.  Here are some tips and tricks to protect against sunburns.

Anyways, I will talk to you guys soon!  Like I said, let me know if you have any suggestions for next week’s theme!
