Hey guys! So today I’m going to be talking about a few of my favourite websites. I did do posts on each of these close to when I first discovered them, but I thought I’d do a more in depth review on them for this series.
CRAFTGAWKER: A great website for craft inspiration. It’s kind of like Pinterest if you’re familiar with that website, in the fact that it is just a bunch of pictures than you can upload, like and comment on. If you click the picture, it sends you to that picture’s website or blog. I am the type of person where I like to look at something, and change it to how I want it, and how I can make it. This website is great for inspiration, because all of the things that are uploaded are actual crafts that are possible to make. I have found so many crafts on there! I go on there everyday to check out the new ones, and end up spending so much time looking through the pages and pages. I have also found great gift ideas on here too! I feel like it’s not very popular, but should be! All of the crafts are great for decoration, or useful.
PINTEREST: My favourite out of the bunch! If you haven’t already checked out my account you can do so here! It’s basically very similar to craft gawker, but instead of only crafts, it has everything you can imagine! You can separate all of your favourite things that you’ve found onto separate boards on your personal page, and browse forever and ever! I cannot tell you how much time I spend on this website! It’s very addicting! GO MAKE ONE! It’s awesome, I promise! You can also follow certain people if you enjoy their board(s). Oh my gosh I could spend the whole day on this site and never get bored.
POLYVORE: Of course, I love this one too! There’s not much to say about it! It’s just a website where you create an account, and get to put together outfits. The thing that amazed me when I first found this website is that there’s so many clothing pieces. I thought it would just be like 50 shirts, and 30 pairs of pants. NOPE! They pull their pictures off from actually stores, and there’s thousands of pieces. I just think it’s great if you are trying to put an outfit together for yourself, or to just spend some time and have fun!
So, that’s it for today! I’ll talk to you tomorrow..for my last day of school! AHHHHH. I’m sure I’ll have a bunch of posts up in the next few days, it’s a long weekend…of 23 days!! Goodnight!
